Thanksgiving will soon be upon us!
This is a time to be thankful for all our blessings—and considering the challenging year that most of us have had, it understandably may be difficult to recall many “blessings.”
But even if times have been difficult for you, if you have a roof over your head, food on your table and people you love, you are blessed.
Now, Thanksgiving is an interesting paradox because it starts out with sheer excitement and anticipation about all the delicious food that is being prepared.
And it ends with absolute agony and suffering over that very same food.
Does this sound familiar to you?
Were you Puff the Magic Dragon or a human whoopie cushion after last Thanksgiving dinner?
Did you have to unbutton your pants or skirt just to be able to breathe? (Or are yoga pants your new fashion?)
Could you belch-sing your way through “Alice’s Restaurant” or play “Over the River and Through the Woods” with your flatulence?
If this describes you then listen up, because it doesn’t have to be that way any longer!
Here’s what I mean.
Three ways to end Thanksgiving digestive misery
There are potentially 3 ways to enjoy a pain-free Thanksgiving, and it all depends on your personal situation:
Pain-free approach #1: Make your meal easier on your system
Like it or not, many people’s bodies cannot easily break down Thanksgiving-like meals that include every type of food known to man, nor were we designed to comfortably ingest a meal that gives you a “food baby” that resembles carrying twins.
But when you eat simpler meals, stop when you are comfortably full, and make your stomach and intestines’ job easier, you can wipe out a major root cause of heartburn and gas!
And that is precisely what my Great Taste No Pain system is all about.
Great Taste No Pain is NOT about deprivation or counting calories! Instead it’s an eating lifestyle that teaches you how to pair foods together in your meals that your body can tackle much easier.
When your body can effectively break down and digest what you’ve eaten, you can say goodbye to that fire in your chest and stomach pain!
And get this—Great Taste No Pain is all about great tasting food, including traditional Thanksgiving desserts like pies! You can enjoy desserts without pain if you follow my advice on when and how to eat them.
And I even give you my recipes for some favorite pies—chocolate custard pie, apple pie and sweet potato pie!
Pain-free approach #2: Make sure you have the enzymes for the job
Another very common cause of digestive fireworks is not having enough enzymes to get the job done.
Contrary to what most people believe, there is not an endless river of enzymes flowing through you. Sooner or later you may get to the point where your body can’t produce what you need any longer…and you begin to suffer with GI distress.
This is especially true if you are over 50, take acid reducers or have had gastric or gallbladder surgery.
But it can make a huge difference in your digestion to give your body a helping hand—with a complete enzyme formula like Digestizol Max.
Digestizol Max provides a thorough, well-rounded blend of 15 plant-derived enzymes that work alongside your body’s own enzyme resources and help to completely break down all your foods—without agony!
Aaah—you can practically feel the relief!
Pain-free approach #3: Rely on an effective herbal remedy
Even if you aren’t regularly plagued with digestive issues or have a “cast iron stomach,” your extra indulgences on Thanksgiving can trigger a fire in your chest, stomach pain, gas and more, and leave you walking the floors or propped up on pillows trying to sleep.
But never fear!
Because there is a very effective remedy that can make a HUGE difference in how you feel, and it’s not a dangerous acid reducer.
It’s Gastro BeCalm Blend!
Gastro BeCalm Blend contains a soothing combination of 4 GI tract-loving herbs that bring about relief from occasional indigestion—fast!
Here are the 4 herbal superstars in this wonderfully effective remedy:
Mastic Gum: Studies have shown that mastic gum kills Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria—the bacteria that causes most stomach ulcers!
Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Root: Licorice is one of the most important herbs of traditional Chinese medicine used to address stomach and intestinal problems. It has been touted in studies to be very effective for heartburn, as well as nausea, indigestion and stomach pain.
Ginger Root: A proven antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, ginger has been used for centuries to treat digestive issues like ulcers, nausea, stomach pain and gas. Ginger has also been cited in studies to inhibit the growth of H. pylori bacteria and reduce inflammation.
Marshmallow Root: Marshmallow has demulcent (soothing) properties and it helps protect inflamed internal tissues. It can ease or prevent heartburn, stomach ulcer symptoms, diarrhea and constipation.
Now you can finally look forward to a pain-free Thanksgiving this year and from now on!
Pick the approach that’s right for you and start really enjoying the holidays more than ever before.
To your health,
Sherry Brescia
