Most times when something is awry in our bodies, we get pretty obvious hints.
This is especially true of acid reflux (aka GERD) because most people with the condition experience heartburn on a very regular basis, along with burping, belching, post-nasal drip and in extreme cases, neck pain, and even heart palpitations!
But there is another sneakier kind of reflux that doesn’t typically manifest itself as a burning chest or chronic belching.
As a matter of fact, people suffering from it commonly mistake it for a throat or sinus condition.
It’s laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), also known as “silent reflux.”
Here’s the scoop on this silent but potentially harmful condition you might not even be aware that you have, as well as effective ways to put an end to it.
LPR-acid reflux’s silent cousin
Laryngopharyngeal reflux, or LPR, is a backflow of your stomach contents, including acid and digestive enzymes, into your airway.
It’s somewhat of an “extension” of acid reflux and expands its reach to affect all parts of your airway—including your nose, sinuses, larynx (voice box), throat, trachea (wind pipe), bronchi and lungs.
So instead of the typical acid reflux heartburn, with LPR you could notice these symptoms:
- Hoarseness
- A sensation of a lump in your throat
- Constantly having to clear your throat
- A sensation of mucous sticking in your throat
- Post-nasal drip
- Chronic cough
- Difficulty swallowing
- Frequent sore throat
- Red, swollen, or irritated larynx
In addition to the dangers of acid reflux (which include damage to the esophagus and tooth enamel, nutrient deficiencies, Barrett’s esophagus and a higher risk of esophageal cancer) people with LPR can also suffer from scarring of the larynx and trachea, poor sleep and voice changes.
Plus LPR can trigger attacks of asthma and worsen sleep apnea in people who have those conditions.
If you’ve noticed symptoms like I mentioned above and haven’t been able to pinpoint what’s going on, see your doctor and have him test for LPR.
Stop it now! It’s easier than you think!
Whether you have “traditional” heartburn/acid reflux, or if it has “expanded” into LPR, the good news is you can help turn it around, safely and naturally!
You see, reflux in any form is a reflection of the fact that your body is having trouble completing digestion the way it should.
And that is overwhelmingly the result of two things—your diet and lacking in digestive enzymes.
But when you address these two underlying issues, you can tackle reflux at its root cause and get relief—FAST!
Here’s how:
1- Change your diet, change your life
There are two major dietary boo-boo’s that people make which will practically guarantee you will suffer from reflux or any other number of digestive conditions.
- You eat a lot of processed (packaged) foods and fast foods, which are inherently difficult for your body to break down. Compounding this is if your drink of choice is soda—that’s the icing on the cake.
- You pair foods together in your meals that require opposing digestive enzymes (acid vs. alkaline) and therefore your enzymes weaken or neutralize each other in the stomach.
So the obvious step one here is to avoid processed and fast foods and stick to wholesome real foods.
In addition, it’s crucial to pair foods together in your meals that your body can break down much easier.
And that is what I will teach you to do in my Great Taste No Pain health system.
Great Taste No Pain shows you the simple tweaks you need to make to your meals to make them easier for your body to tackle, plus gives you loads of delicious ways to enjoy real (not packaged or junk) foods that taste positively spectacular!
I originally wrote Great Taste No Pain back in 2007 and it has been paving the way for better digestion for people all over the world ever since!
2- A little help from my enzyme friends
If you've eaten a typical American diet for quite some time, chances are excellent that you have expended far more digestive enzymes than Nature intended you to.
As a result, your body's ability to produce proper enzyme levels may be diminished...and this can be a major contributing factor to poor digestion and reflux!
If you suspect low enzymes are a concern for you, then a full-spectrum enzyme formula like Digestizol Max can give your body the help it needs to completely break down all your foods!
Plus its herbal blend (including ginger, fennel and peppermint) helps to soothe inflammation in the GI tract.
Digestizol Max has been helping to eradicate reflux for thousands of our satisfied clients for over 11 years!
Now that’s success!
Even more help--occasional symptomatic relief
Despite efforts to have a healthy diet and create easier to digest meals, the fact is, sometimes you might just indulge a little bit too much (especially around the holidays!) and have an occasional bout of reflux.
But before you resort to Tums, Rolaids or Pepto-Bismol for relief, reach for our very own Gastro BeCalm Blend instead!
This outstanding digestive formula can safely and effectively ease heartburn, reflux and indigestion and cool the fires of stomach inflammation.
Gastro BeCalm Blend combines these four very effective, well-proven and potent herbs that soothe stomach irritation and support more comfortable digestion, as well as less heartburn and digestive discomfort:
Mastic Gum: Mastic gum has been used since the days of our caveman ancestors to improve digestion! Studies have shown that it effectively kills Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria—the bacteria that causes most stomach ulcers.
Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Root: Research has shown that licorice root is very effective against heartburn, as well as a natural remedy for nausea, indigestion and stomach pain.
Ginger Root: Ginger has long been used to treat digestive issues such as peptic ulcers, gas and indigestion. It has been shown in studies to stop the growth of H. pylori bacteria and reduce the inflammation it causes.
Marshmallow Root: Marshmallow root can ease or prevent heartburn, ulcer symptoms, diarrhea and constipation.
Say goodbye to reflux and hello to smoother, more comfortable digestion now!
To your health,
Sherry Brescia
My ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough.

Should Gastro Be Calm be taken before, during or after a meal? I usually take Digestizol Max before a meal.
Is there any shellfish, fish shells, nuts, legumes in Gastro BeCalm Blend?
In what form is the Gastro BeCalm ?
Liquid or capsule?
