February is National Cancer Prevention Month and ribbons in all colors of the rainbow are popping up everywhere to raise awareness about our #2 killer.
Organizations like the American Cancer Society, the National Cancer Institute and the Mayo Clinic are regurgitating the same old prevention strategies—don’t use tobacco, eat a healthy diet, exercise and go for annual screenings (like mammograms)—even though those screenings expose you to cancer-causing radiation!
Oops.
Plus now vaccines for HPV (human papilloma virus) and Hepatitis B are being suggested to allegedly prevent infections that could someday possibly fester into cancer if left untreated…even though the HPV vaccine contains polysorbate 80 (which has been linked to infertility) and the Hep B vaccine has formaldehyde—a documented carcinogen!
I wish I could make this stuff up!
If you want to know how to really help prevent cancer, here is what you need to know:
How it starts to begin with!
Cancer is not the “mystery” it is made out to be. Instead it is very predictable and looks to make its “home” in people who fit these criteria:
1- An acidic environment
Cancer LOVES an acidic environment, but it cannot survive in an alkaline environment.
So your body’s pH (how acid or alkaline you are) is a significant factor behind whether or not you will face cancer, and if you do, whether or not you will beat it.
By design our bodies are meant to have a slightly alkaline pH—about 7.365. Unfortunately many of us are dipping toward the acid range and that increases your susceptibility to cancer (as well as other chronic diseases).
Factors are all around you that increase the acidity in your body including:
- Processed and fast foods
- Medication residue
- Eating a lot of highly acid foods (meats, poultry, dairy, eggs and grains) without a counterbalance of alkaline foods (fresh vegetables and greens)
- Poor digestion
- Coffee, alcohol and soda
2- A diet high in sugar and refined carbs
Having a diet high in sugar and refined carbs (which turn to sugar upon digestion) is a double edged sword.
First of all, sugar feeds cancer, so the more of it you have in your system, the more you are nourishing cancer cells.
Plus sugar depresses your immune system functioning, and your immune system protects you against cancer! So when your immune system is compromised by sugar, cancer has a better chance to thrive.
3- Lacking essential nutrients
Cancer is delighted when you are lacking nutrients, especially these three:
Vitamin C: Vitamin C is crucial to proper immune function, it helps kill cancer cells and it even makes chemotherapy more effective.
Vitamin D: Vitamin D has been shown to be an important player in protecting your body against several cancers.
Omega-3 essential fatty acids: The Omega-3 fat Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) has been shown in studies to help inhibit the growth of certain cancers.
4- Toxins in your body
Our bodies are inundated with toxins that are either carcinogenic in and of themselves, or pollute your body to the point where your cells and organs of detox can’t work properly.
Common sources of toxic exposure include:
- Heavy metals (mercury, aluminum, lead, cadmium and arsenic) in the environment, cigarette smoke, amalgam dental fillings and vaccines
- Contaminated water—our water supplies have been shown to contain fluoride, chlorine and even medications like pain killers and antidepressants
- Herbicides and pesticides
- Nitrates and nitrites in processed meats
- Antibiotics and hormones from animals raised for our meat supply
Now…for real prevention!
Now that you know what cancer prefers to seek out for a home, here is how you can help prevent it:
1) Eat nutritious alkaline foods & keep digestion efficient
This is extremely important—your body must have the nutrients it needs, fiber to help eliminate toxins, and a proper balance of alkaline foods to buffer the acidity in your body.
And the Great Taste No Pain health system can give you the guidance you need!
Great Taste No Pain teaches you how to combine foods together in your meals to support better digestion.
Not only will this help encourage regular bowel movements, but it can also help curb other digestive problems like acid reflux, gas and bloating.
Plus the dishes in the recipe section are so delicious, you will fall in love with healthy, nutritious foods and happily say goodbye to toxic, chemical-loaded packaged foods for good.
2) Drink pure water
Water is essential for creating urine and keeping your bowels running smoothly so your body can eliminate toxins.
Eight glasses of filtered water a day should be your minimum.
3) Get enough vitamin C, vitamin D and Omega-3 essential fatty acids
Vitamin C is easy to get in your diet—tomatoes, bell peppers, citrus fruits, strawberries, kale, broccoli and Brussels sprouts are all great sources. (You can also ask your doctor about vitamin C IV therapy to supplement cancer treatment if you are undergoing it.)
Vitamin D and Omega-3 EFAs are trickier. Food sources of vitamin D are limited, and the average person doesn’t spend enough unprotected time in the sun for their body to consistently make vitamin D.
In addition, the richest food source of Omega-3 fats is fish, and that’s not something most people eat 7 days a week.
To ensure that you have health-supporting, disease-fighting levels of these nutrient superstars, Optimum DK Formula with FruiteX-B and VitalMega-3 fish oil formula are your tickets!
Optimum DK Formula gives your body an impressive 5,000 IU boost of vitamin D3, and VitalMega-3 provides 1,200 mg of inflammation-fighting Omega-3 fats, including the cancer-protective EPA.
4) Get sweating
Your skin is a primary organ of detox and the more you sweat, the cleaner you are on the inside!
Regular exercise is key here (after getting your doctor’s OK).
Also, try infrared saunas as well.
5) Choose organic meats
The only way you can be assured of getting meat from animals that have not been treated with antibiotics and hormones, and that have not been fed GMO feed and/or grains that are laced with glyphosate is to choose organic.
And stay away from processed meats preserved with nitrates. If you love bacon, look for organic, nitrate-free varieties.
6) Support a healthy gut environment
Your immune system protects you against cancer, and most of that immune system resides in your gut. So truly, the gut is where it’s at in terms of cancer prevention!
Daily supplementation with a full-spectrum probiotic formula like Super Shield will help ensure that you have a health-supporting population of friendly bacteria that will encourage your immune system to stay sharp and strong.
7) Embrace the power of turmeric
Studies have found that curcumin (an antioxidant that is the active ingredient in turmeric), demonstrates anticancer effects.
Plus lab studies have also shown that curcumin interferes with several important molecular pathways involved in cancer development, growth, and spread!
Turmeric is commonly found in Indian and Asian dishes, but the average person doesn’t eat enough turmeric to make a significant difference in their health.
To make sure your body has health-supporting levels of this impressive cancer fighter, Optimal Turmeric Blend is your ticket!
Optimal Turmeric Blend contains 750 mg of pure, organic turmeric in every daily 2-capsule dose, plus the addition of black pepper extract to help ensure maximum absorbency!
Now you are on a sound path to TRULY preventing cancer!

The last time I was to my doctor for my blood work I asked him if he could request to have my blood ph tested on the requisition form also. He looked at me as if I was making a weird request and wanted to know why. I told him that I had been reading a lot of information about how important ph was to good health. He replied that the only time that in his career of 250000 patients that a ph test was ever done was when someones kidneys were failing and they would monitor blood gas levels to determine ph level to assess
kidney functionality. He also tried to push a new vaccine for Shingles and the flu shot on me. Somehow I felt like this was more of a sales job for drug and big pharma than a doctors visit.
Hi Stephanie,
Your pH can be tested with saliva, urine or blood. Saliva is the least accurate while urine is slightly more accurate than; both can be done at home. You can find pH test strips in most drug stores and health food stores. Blood is the most accurate, but also the most expensive as it must be drawn and sent to a lab for analysis.
Our bodies are meant to have a slightly alkaline pH (around 7.365). The ideal urine pH should be only slightly acidic around 6.5 – 6.8. Saliva should be between a 7.0 and 7.4. Blood should be 7.365.
We hope this helps!
How can I test myself to see what my Ph is?
